当地时间8月30日,澳大利亚本迪戈中学孔子课堂下设克罗所中学举办中国服饰文化课。在孔院教师金思敏的引导下,该校七年级学生学习了服装词汇以及中国服饰的历史知识,探索了服装背后的文化意义。 At the 30th August, Year 7 students learn the unit of Clothing, which referring the relevant phrases and Chinese clothing history. Additionally, together with the teacher(Jasmine) , students also explored the cultural elements of clothing. 通过听说读写等练习,以及相关游戏,学生们在短时间内快速掌握重点词汇。之后,孩子们被分组,被要求制作去不同国家旅行所需的衣物清单。 Year 7 students master the key phrases through listening, speaking, reading writing tasks and different games. Later, students would have been grouped and required to create a clothing list if they travelled around the world. When students did this activity, the only language that they can use is Chinese. 学生作品展示在强化词汇理解之后,老师和孩子们又一起将教室装扮成了服装市场,有的人装扮成售货员,有的人装扮成顾客。就这样,老师们在讨价还价中,掌握了重点句式的学习。为了让课堂充满趣味性,老师还组织了一场报纸时装秀。 After enhancing students’ understanding about the key phrases, Year 7 students decorated the classroom as a supermarket. Some children acted as customers, and some of them acted as salespeople. From this bargaining, students learnt the key sentences about buying clothing. In order to engage year 7 students, Jasmine also hold a “Newspaper fashion show”. 学生用报纸做中国服饰为了让学生们了解文化背后的意义,教师还带来大家共同去搜寻中国传统服饰的特点,研究中国不同朝代的服饰,并且制作相关的海报,最后在班级中展出。在枯燥的练习与游戏中,孩子们愉快地掌握了该单元的主要内容,体验了学习中文的乐趣。
Language learning is not just about the functional language, it is more about exploring its cultural elements. Therefore, students were also required to explore the features of Chinese traditional clothing. Finally, students had effectively acquired the language knowledge of this Clothing unit from these various activities. |
